James A. Cole - Managing Partner
James Cole is co-founder and Managing Director of Windward Ventures. His investment focus is in semiconductors, storage and communications. Mr. Cole has been personally involved in the formation of many successful companies including EESof, Amplica and Spectrian. Mr. Cole currently serves as a director of one public company (Gigatronics) and several private companies.
Mr. Cole is also a Trustee at Mount St Mary's College.
Prior to
founding Windward Ventures, Mr. Cole was a founding general
partner of Spectra Enterprise Associates, a Southern
California based venture fund and he was a partner of New
Enterprise Associates, one of the country's leading venture
capital organizations. He was previously a co-founder and
Executive Vice President of Amplica, a successful manufacturer
of microwave gallium arsenide integrated circuits.

M. David Titus - Managing Partner
David Titus is co-founder and Managing Director of Windward Ventures. In addition to directing the overall development of the firm, he is responsible for a number of investments in the software field. Mr. Titus has been a director of over 25 companies, including two public companies. He is currently a director of several private companies, including Akonix Systems, Nirvanix and Xifin. He is also a member of the Executive Committee for the CONNECT program in San Diego and a member of the Venture Capital Advisory Board of the San Diego Venture Group. Mr. Titus was formerly an officer of the Western Association of Venture Capitalists.
Prior to founding Windward Ventures, Mr.
Titus was a General Partner and Managing Director of Corporate
Finance for Technology Funding, a $250 million venture capital
firm, where he was responsible for directing all new
investment activity from 1988 through 1992. Mr. Titus was also
a co-founder and Senior Vice President of Silicon Valley Bank,
a highly successful bank with headquarters in Santa Clara,
California. Mr. Titus has a BA from University of California,
Santa Barbara.

Renee Masi - Partner
Renee Masi has been with Windward
Ventures since 1998, concentrating on health care and software
technology investments. She has over 14 years experience in
the venture capital industry with Technology Funding of San
Mateo, California and Ventures Medical of Houston, Texas. She
is currently a Managing Director with Bio-Star Private Equity Funds.
Ms. Masi began her career as an investment banker with Merrill
Lynch. She is currently director of several private companies.
Ms. Masi holds a BA degree from Stanford University and an MBA
from The Wharton School of Business.

Paul A. Scott - Administrative Partner & CFO
Paul Scott joined Windward Ventures in 2000 as Administrative Partner & CFO. Mr. Scott currently serves as a director of AdvancedMD Software, a private company headquartered in Utah.
Prior to
Windward Ventures, Mr. Scott was an independent consultant
providing interim senior management to venture funded
companies. Mr. Scott was previously President and CEO of VSI
Enterprises, Inc., a public company headquartered in Atlanta.
He began his career with Wells Fargo Bank and Sears Bank. Mr.
Scott has a BA from Ithaca College and a MBA from Loyola
University of Chicago.

C. Richard Kramlich:
Co-founder and General Partner of
New Enterprise Associates. Mr. Kramlich has over 25 years experience in
venture capital and has been a director of over 20 public companies.
Frank A. Bonsal:
Co-founder and General Partner of

Mr. Bonsal was a General Partner with Alex Brown & Sons.
F. Duwaine Townsen:
